Artist: B-Light

Arnaud M. Edjamian

Born in west Africa but raised in new york, Arnaud always had a proficiency for performing in front of large crowds. As early as the age of 5, he remembers performing the backstreet boys song I want it that way in a room of more than 200 people.

From then on he began his journey as songwriter/performer through becoming active in his high school's poetry club and eventually adopted the Emcee name of "L1GHT" after meeting his musical counterpart JamesisLucid in 2009. Together they learned Audio engineering/"The art of rap" and they forged a group called the "League" and they went on to release a series of Solo Mixtapes.

In 2012, after deciding to take his Artist career seriously and trying to be business oriented, Arnaud added the letter "B" in front of his moniker and became B-Light. This decision was impacted by the realization that much of his content was positive, uplifting, conscious and inspiring. So the addition of the letter made his name a statement " I must B Light".

B-Light

After Adopting the name B-Light, B-Light dove into the art of performing culminating in him going on a four city tour that included him sharing stages with artists such as Cynikl, Madness and Loyale from New York, Political Animals from Connecticut, TeamBackPack's star performer Passionate MC and Netflix's " Rhythm and Flow" finalist Flawless Real Talk. This tour ended at the famed Whiskey A Go Go in LA California. At the completion of this tour (2012), in order to honor a promise made to his mother he went to school for the completion of his nursing degree. Going back to school however did not stop his trajectory. Becoming the president of his Literary Magazine and Poetry club, B-Light also performed at Molloy College's Madison Theater every year until his graduating year in 2015. In, 2018, B-Light got invited to perform at Harvard University's Bicentennial celebration, this was a formative experience that encouraged him to start his Music Publishing Conglomerate "Contrast Productions" and release his first solo project the "Champion" Album, in almost a decade through it.
